Arctica’s process team were enlisted to investigate and find a solution to the problem with the quality of some of its liquid egg products which threatened its reputation.

The entire process was mapped from farm to plate to identify the risks and conditions. Once audited, actions were taken to stabilise the performance.  The key process of pasteurisation was identified as not being reliable and replacement was the agreed solution.

Full scale trials prior to awarding the contract and again after commissioning.

Arctica surpassed the client’s expectations by doubling the shelf life and quality improvement.  The client went on to be awarded the prestigious accolade of ‘Supplier of the Year’.
