Description
Arctica were commissioned to improve the existing processes to a broccoli and cauliflower packing line. A quality improvement in the finished product were required, through a reduction in process damage.
Through an audit of the multi-head weigher liner, damage points were identified. Arctica managed the improvement modifications and recommissioning of the multi-head weigher.
The result was an improved shelf life of 2 days and with the addition a direct feed to the line an improvement in labour efficiency.
