Arctica provided a complete optimisation for a live upgrade along with architectural design. The process equipment design team worked closely with the architectural team to design the alterations and extension of the existing factory. Numerous trials and data analysis were carried out to determine an optimum design and operating conditions.
Both the construction and installation of equipment were phased to minimise disruption to a live production facility. The project included new chilling line, weigh line and butchery line with new re-hangers to link the new and existing lines, increasing capacity.
