Description
A new build factory dedicated to the production of leaf and deli products for Waitrose. This manufacturing facility included high risk/high care/low risk and offices. The pioneering lettuce preparation concept included a water flume waste collection and separation plant along with a hygiene wash down system in the high risk refrigerated production areas.
5 additional phases included: –
- Expansion of the Refrigerated goods-out warehouse & office/canteen
- A tray wash extension
- Assembly and packing extension
- Extension to the cook house
- A new dispatch store extension including loading docks, service road and new deli production line.
