• Partial architectural consultancy services for a new waste to energy plant and associated buildings.
• The twin waste streams consume 420,000 tonnes of domestic waste per annum, producing 37MW of electricity to be fed back into the National Grid.
• Located near Heathrow, the building stands 42m high and 130m long, with 75m high ornate chimney stack, dominating the view south of the M25/M4 junction.
• Arctica prepared detail designs for the external skin and offices, in a challenge to retain the original design concept but translating it into a high quality, finished building.
