Shakeel’s fascination with the construction industry saw him begin college to do a QCF advanced Diploma in construction, studying every area of the construction industry from procurement to managing and design.  Site visits with some well-known contractors such as Lang O’Rourke and Sir Robert McAlpine were a highlight of the course!

At this point he found himself heading down the design path and after studying for his degree at University  he spent years grasping the fundamental skill in technical design whilst attending university to achieve his BSC Hons.

Shakeel now works as a Architectural Technologist and gets satisfaction from seeing a building being built that he helped and was responsible for designing.

Giving back to the community gives Shakeel the drive and motivates in his work.

In his spare time Shakeel enjoys drawing, cooking, basketball and tennis.  He can often be found walking in the local park enjoying the sounds that come with nature.
