Arctica, through our specialist architectural design, planning and project management services, are great advocates of reducing food waste and we support food factory and warehouse clients to implement systems and solutions that reduce waste, making an impact in the early stages of the food industry supply chain.

We consider this an important practice for commercial food sector design. Not only does is benefit the environment, it assists lean manufacturing, saves costs and therefore ultimately increases profits throughout the entire food production process. When considering upgrading food production lines and processes, our advice for design and automation can help you maximise your return on investment.

For example, a project we carried out for a client near Heathrow, London takes waste and converts it to energy which is fed back into the National Grid. Through project planning and creative design, we made both the external facade of the building attractive to look at and the offices a functional and enjoyable working environment. If you are considering a factory refurbishment, need help with building design or would like to improve and streamline your production processes to produce less waste and be more efficient, please get in touch with us to discuss your project with one of our project engineers.
